Happy 100 days at school Preps!

It was so exciting to see the Preps arriving all dressed up as something to do with 100! The teachers even got dressed up! A ladybug with 100 spots, a buzzy bee with 100 stings and I was a Dalmatian with 100 spots!

We had lots of 100 year old children, sleeping beauty who had been asleep for 100 years, a school girl from 100 years ago, a monster with 100 googly eyes, dalmatians with 100 spots and lots of other great outfits.

We started off the day by writing about what we will do when we are 100 and what we will look like. We then drew pictures of how we will look. Come and see our fantastic work outside our classroom.

We then went outside on the 100th minute of the day and did 100 exercises!

A picture of all the Preps dressed up!

Our Grade 5 buddies joined us after Playtime and sang 'Happy 100 days to you' we ate a delicious cupake with 100's and 1000's on them! We then shared our 100 items we had brought in with us with our buddies and grouped them.. we discovered different ways to make 100. We then make special crowns with '100 days smarter!' written on them.

We enjoyed delicious fairy bread with 100's and 1000's for lunch. We then marched around the school to show off our fabulous costumes. The other kids all gave us high 5's as we went past!

The kids were then presented with special 100 day certificates. What a fun day we had!
